The team at History Interactive designed a great new site in house for season 3 of Ice Road Truckers, but they needed a centerpiece for the show’s homepage. Insomnia Graphics was brought on to develop the main promo area. The producer had the idea to make it look like a windshield frosting over to wipe between items, and we brought that idea to life nicely.
They also required extreme flexibility — the ability to change not just copy and images but also the number of slides, how long they are on the stage, the kerning and font sizes, the color of mouse effects and more. It’s all edited by xml, without the need of a developer.
